Paige and Nick's Air Force Academy Chapel Wedding was a whirlwind of a weekend with Nick graduating and going off to flight school just days after their wedding. Their reception was held at the Pinecrest Weddings and Event Center in nearby Palmer Lake, Colorado.

The Cadet Chapel at the Air Force Academy is an architectural marvel. Built in 1962, it's part Death Star and a great example of modernism/futureism. It was names a U.S. National Historic Landmark in 2004. It was an amazing sight to see. The weather offered weird lighting which added to the overall ambience. Only a select few can get married in the chapel. Paige and Nick are in good company.

Graduates of the U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
Active duty personnel currently assigned to the U.S. Air Force Academy and active duty Air Force personnel stationed in the local area to include Buckley Air Force Base, Colo.
Dependents of active duty personnel currently assigned to the USAFA who hold a valid military dependent ID card on the day of the wedding.
Purple Heart recipients and Silver Star recipients and above. ID card holding dependents of service members killed in action.

Their reception party was held at the Pinecrest Weddings and Event Center in Palmer Lake. It was a neat wedding venue that has a mountain lodge/cabin feel. Paige and Nick's friends and family had an absolute blast! Nicks mom made special shirts for all of Nick's guys with custom printed sleeves and they we're tossing Nick and Paige up in the air while singing. Definitely a fun and great party.
