This was a gorgeous wedding in The Pavilion at Cheesman Park in Downtown Denver, right behind the Denver Botanic Gardens.
It started out a typical hot Colorado summer day. The ladies got ready at the Grand Hyatt Denver downtown on Welton St. After having to quickly hide from the guys who happened to be entering at the same time, they hopped into the limo to head up to Cheesman Park. We had some fun doing some group photos and then getting ready as the guests began to arrive.
By the beginning of the ceremony it began to mist/light rain and then shortly after it started to pour down. Everyone quickly scrambled back up to the Pavilion to wait out the rain. Luckily it wasn't full of chairs as they had just began to set it up for the reception.
After the rain began to clear up, everyone went back out, took their seats and we started the wedding ceremony again. It would mist here and there until eventually, the sun came out.
We then had amazing weather and an incredible evening, ending in a ride in a vintage Rolls Royce that was once owned by Winston Churchill.
The Pavilion at Cheeseman Park is a great wedding venue, as it's a city park that you can rent that is very affordable, and it doesn't look like a lame brick gazebo. It has some style and class. You can have your ceremony under the pavilion itself or you can have it on the surrouding patio like Lily and Jeremy did. Both offer its advantages. The surrounding park has so many great spots for photos. There is a wide variety of trees around, two fountains, manicured flower gardens and of course the Cheesman Pavilion itself.
These two hold a very special place in my heart and I wish them the very best.
Make sure to check out their wedding film as well below
I am available for all of Colorado and destination weddings, elopements, and engagements. I love to wander.
