I love love love love love the mountains. They bring me great joy, peace and I really love sharing them with couples. Nothing beats the sunshine hitting your face in the cool crisp air. Woah sorry about that. I mountain zoned out there for a minute.
These two were visiting Colorado and really wanted to do their engagement session this fall. It was kind of a last minute thing for them and I was more than happy to jump on the chance to take them out and have some laughs. This was probably at the peak of the fall leaves and after a few years of rainy weird fall seasons I was so so happy to finally get some great fall colors in a wedding or at least an engagement session.
This may be hard to read but "don't take your engagement session too serious." Well, let me rephrase, don't let planning and thinking about your session be "work." Wear some of your favorite comfortable clothes and bring your love. That, and some good shoes cause we will most certainly be getting off the trail.
This was such a great day. We were wandering around and came up to the river and it had such an add orange color. It wasn't the water so much as it was the river bed. Much further up the road is an old mine that the iron got into the river and oxidized. Kinda neat looking, kinda sad.
This is a spot that I discovered and still want to come back and do some 4 wheeling to get to the top. That will have to be the next trip out with another couple.
I am available for all of Colorado and destination weddings, elopements, and engagements. I love to wander.
