This colorado engagement photo session was really fun. I met Priya and Thomas in Boulder so they/we didn't get lost and couldn't find each other in the mountains. We had a great time wandering the lake and the trees. I took some really cool panorama portraits in the pine trees.
We tried our hand at skipping stones across the water. We did okay but nothing over 3 skips. We continued around the lake waiting for the sun to set and came to this enormous boulder that is normally surrounded by water but it was low enough for Priya and Thomas to climb to the top of.
The sun began to set and you could see a really neat reflection of the sunset in the lake with P + T silhouetted in front. It was really cool and I needed to be careful not to go blind while maintaining focus.
As we were going down the mountain you could see that the clouds had moved in and we were now in fact above a layer of clouds. You can see this in one of the last photos. It was a really weird and a very unique experience.
