When most people want engagement photos in Estes Park everyone wants the mountains. When Carleigh and I talked, she specifically wanted a downtown Estes Park photo session and I loved the idea. Estes Park is a really neat town and its ever evolving. There's great festivals and street fairs througout the summer, some good restaurants and breweries, lots of places to stay and obviously some amazing mountains.
If you want to visit Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park but want to get away from the crazyness of tourists, look for places to stay in Allenspark and Lyons. Just a little local pro tip for you.
Brandon proposed to Carleigh alongside the river in town and wanted to "commemorate" that as they didn't anyone capture the actual moment at the time. If you're curious, its the photos right after we found a giant pile of concrete water culverts.
I had an amazing afternoon with these two and could really feel the love and care they have for each other. They are planning on having their wedding at the Ellis Ranch just outside Loveland. A neat wedding venue surrounded by some red bookcliff mountains and has a very western and rustic vibe. It can also accomodate the 300 people they are expecting.
I am available for all of Colorado and destination weddings, elopements, and engagements. I love to wander.
