I am not sure you are quite ready for these incredible fall Colorado engagement photos. Even better is that we got some really cool mountain top stuff just as the sun was going behind the mountains.
I am always looking around for cool trails and roads to take for some awesome spots. With this engagement session in particular the road I planned on taking was going to take a lot longer than I thought to get to "the spot" and I was afraid we would run out of light so we changed tactics and I found a few patches of these really intense golden aspen tree groves.
These two were so cute. As per usual, no one knows what exactly to do. I totally understand that you're not used to being photographed. I have figure out little games and fun things to do that basically get you to quit thinking about how you look and just engage with each other. While that is going on I will definitely fix something if it does look weird. Doing it this way I've found I am able to capture real emotion and the way a couple is with each other; and it's fun.
After some exploration in the trees we headed up the mountain for some big mountain views and watched the sun go down past the mountain ridge while getting blasted with some cold mountain air. These two stuck it out and had lots of fun in the fall colors and mountains.
I will be going back to get up that road in the future for sure. There's always new places to explore and experience.
I am available for all of Colorado and destination weddings, elopements, and engagements. I love to wander.
