This session was a ton of fun. I shot Miles and Meghann's wedding 7 years ago. It just doesn't seem like that long ago. Seeing how they still are with each other also makes it seem like a year or two ago. That's a great sign in my book.
True to Miles fashion, he wanted to surprise Meghann with the trip and then once they got into town, an anniversary photo session. Something I am all game for and love to do personally as well. I worked it out that they would go to breakfast at one of my favorite places Nora's Fish Creek Inn and I would wander in behind and just ask to sit at their table with them.
So Miles sneaks a text where they're sitting and I stroll in and sneak up to Meghann and turn around at the last minute and ask to sit with them. She quickly went from, "What?!! Who the heck is this guy ... Oh My God!! Dylan!!!!" I jokingly just mentioned I happened to be in town and Miles reveals everything. We proceed to have an amazing breakfast and catch up on all the new happenings with each other.
The plan was to so a sunset session in The Grand Tetons so what do you do when you have the rest of the day? You go to Yellowstone with your friends!
After spending the day in Yellowstone and quickly realizing just how massive of a park it is we head back to the Grand Tetons and ride out the sunset. Enjoy!
If you are thinking of having an anniversary session.... YOU TOTALLY SHOULD! I love to help you plan out something crazy too, be it somewhere in the US or even international. It's so much fun and an amazing way to capture your adventure together so far.
I am available for all of Colorado and destination weddings, elopements, and engagements. I love to wander.
