The fall in Colorado this last year was weird. More unpredictable that it generally is, even for Colorado. The colors changed several weeks ahead due to weird cold snaps. It was also rainy and foggy. A hard year for my immense love of taking colorado fall engagement photos.
As with all my engagement sessions I have the couple focus on each other and not worry about taking photos. I have little games to play that are fun and are a good way to break the seemingly awkward feeling of having your photo taken. Through this, my couples look incredible and comfortable. These two really dove in headfirst and by the end of the photo session I could feel the love and adoration that these two have for each other. It was a great reminder of why I do this.
It also helps that I am obsessed with trying to make every session end with glowing warm sunset engagement photos. There really isn't much better and add in that we're in Colorado and you win!
