Ashton and Michael come to Silverthorne Colorado for their elopement wedding and fell in love with the view at Sapphire Point Overlook. It's a really great spot for those weddings that are around 20-30 people. You can reserve it - reservation times go really quick - but it is still open to the public so it has some challenges if you are considering having your wedding ceremony here. The main issue is parking. The lot is super tiny and can be filled with non-wedding visitors. Thankfully, the parking lot is underegoing construction to make it larger and better allocated for guests. Downsides is that as of 2024 it is closed until it is finished.
Ashton and Michael have been together for over 10 years and have 3 children. They live such busy lives that a wedding always fell to the wayside. They were both so excited and happy to finally marry each other. I had a great time working with them and having fun in the mountains. Their relationshop had a lot of depth that really enhanced what I do with couples.
I'm not a posey photographer. I love moment and having my couples interact with each other. I have things for them to talk about and games to play that ease them into being the way they are on any old normal day. These two did great and have such joy and care for each other it was so much fun to watch the sunset together.
I am available for all of Colorado and destination weddings, elopements, and engagements. I love to wander.
