Having a Cielo at Castle Pines Wedding is a great idea if you are expecting a lot of guests from out of town and want to give them that "Colorado Experience" but don't make them drive 2 hours into the mountains and potentially get lost or stuck in traffic on I-70. Its super close to Denver and set into a hill and surrounded by some really nice pine trees.

Hindu weddings are such an amazing celebration. So many amazing colors and small ceremonies keep the day action packed and so visually interesting. Buckle up for a slew of photographs here.

What I will remember most from this day, other than it being so beautifully designed, decorated and planned, was it was HOT. Well, the ceremony certainly was. It is very typical for Colorado weather to ebb and flow. We had scorching sun during the cermony and many guests had to retreat to shade. Even umbrellas wasn't cutting it. Then it mellowed out a bit for portrait time, which was perfect. Then as we had lunch the rain rolled in and cooled it all down to leave us with a nice warm evening. I tend to write about weather a lot as it always keeps me on my toes and in the end enables me to give the couple a wide variety of photos; a big goal of mine. Also, just keeps things interesting... as long as it changes; a little spat of rain is fine. Also doesn't hurt if I can capture a sunset too.

Priya and Thomas' wedding was pretty incredible. Thomas rode in on a gorgeous white horse, they had amazing performances by a Tabla and Sitar musicians, Thomas' family, and Priya's family. AND... everyone had a blast dancing late into the night.
