It's no secret I love Colorado in the fall. I just love spending time in the cool air surrounded by gold leaves and aspen trees. What better place to spend that time than in Golden Colorado!?? Well, there's many other great spots but Golden is very fitting.
Heather and Jeff brought their two goofy dogs along with for their engagement session. A pittbull terrier and a super old but sweet blind and deaf Chihuahua.
I always suggest to to my couples to incorporate things about them and their lives right now. Not something silly like balloons or trendy cutesy props. My hope is that by bringing these things and going to a place you love, the resulting photos will have more meaning to you and be something special to share with your friends, family and eventually your own kids. I know my daughters like seeing old photos of my wife and I.
There is some pretty delicious light glow here. Starting out in more casual clothes for in the Aspens and then something a bit fancier for the big mountain view ones at the end.
Speaking of wardrobe during engagement photo sessions... I don't have limits but keep in mind we are most likely hiking and wandering around so make it easy to carry and quick to change in and out of. The sun waits for no one and I would hate for you to miss out on some awesome sunset photos cause we had a snag with a clothing change.
If you are up for another photo adventure and one heck of a story, check out their wedding in Allenspark and Grand Lake HERE and their day after photo adventure in Rocky Mountain National Park HERE.
I am available for all of Colorado and destination weddings, elopements, and engagements. I love to wander.
