Megan and Marty's Colorado elopement wedding adventure begins with an evening at Black Canyon National Park to visit the painted wall amoung other spots. It's hard to call their wedding just an elopement as we had their wedding ceremony in Telluride but then celebrated it all over Western Colorado and Northern California. Small but still incredibly large as well.
We weren't blessed with an amazing sunset so I guess we will just have to go back. No problem for me. Its a pretty surreal place. For those who havent been, the canyon really appears out of no where. You go from a low valley into some tallish plateus but then boom this HUGE crack appears out of nowhere. I stand at the edge and can't help think about the pioneers coming west were rolling along and then oh crap. Its pretty clear you can't just hike down. Its steeeeeeep. Certainly a site to see.
If you've missed the rest of their wedding adventure make sure to check out their Telluride Colorado Wedding, Uncompaghre National Forest, Santa Cruz, California, Humboldt Redwoods State Park, California.
I am available for all of Colorado and destination weddings, elopements, and engagements. I love to wander.
